Zanzibar Gem (Zamioculcas zamifolia)
The Zamioculcas Zamifolia, aka ZZ Plant, is one of those “tough as nails” houseplants that can survive just about anywhere, even in extremely low light.The Zamiculcas zamiifolia is native to Eastern and South Africa.
ZZ plant, with its wide, attractive, dark green leaves, boasts many favourable traits for offices and homes. ZZ plant tolerates neglect, is drought tolerant, and accepts low-light conditions without throwing a fit. Its waxy, smooth leaves reflect sunlight and brighten rooms. ZZ usually grows slowly to a height and width of two to three feet so it is not a plant monster that outgrows containers quickly.

Size (Can grow to)
Medium 20-50cm. A herbaceous plant growing up to 60cm tall, from a stout underground succulent rhizome. The glossy leaves are up to 60cm long, succulent and pinnate with 6-8 pairs of elliptic-ovate leaflets which are broadest in the middle
Bright light. For your plant to thrive, position in bright indirect sunlight however, it can do well in low light levels too.
Low. Due to its watering storing nature you don't have to water your Zanzibar Gem very often. Allow it to completely dry out between watering
