"Mini Monstera" (Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma)
Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma is a stunning plant suitable in most indoors spaces. They have a climbing habit so work best when given a good support, such as a moss or coconut fibre totem pole.
This beauty goes by many names such as “Mini Monstera”, Philodendron/Monstera “Ginny”, or Philodendron “Piccolo”. It is a unique species of plants originating from Malaysia and Southern Thailand. Although these plants are part of the Araceae family, they belong to an independent genus known as Rhaphidophora.
Size (Can grow to)
This is a fast growing plant with a mature leaf size of approximately 15cm x 10cm and a climbing habit that makes it great for training up a bare wall / totem.
Requires bright, filtered light. Indoors, a bit of morning direct sun is fine; outdoors, a little bit of dappled sun is fine as well
Medium. Tetrasperma likes to stay pretty moist, at least during growing season. This plant won't pout if you forget to water it now and then, and is more sensitive to overwatering if anything
