Peperomia are perfect if you're looking for a compact houseplant that's not too demanding.Peperomia Piccolo Banda is distinguished by its thick, pale silvery-green leaves with dark green, sometimes purple tinged, heavy veining running in multiple bands down their length. Stems are a fleshy, succulent red. Green spikes of tiny flowers appear on long, thin, red stalks and waft tantalisingly above the plant. Definitely an eye-catching crowd pleaser.

Peperomia enjoy bright or moderate light conditions and will tolerate shade. Avoid direct sunlight. They do really well under fluorescent lights, making them ideal for the office or basement flat.
Water when the soil has almost dried out, peperomia don't like to be over-watered. Use soft water if possible and water from below. Water is stored in the leaves making these plants drought resistant.
