"Leopard Lily" Tiki (Dieffenbachia Tiki)
Styled in Birch Pot Medium
Adaptable, low-maintenance, hardy - Leopard Lily (Dieffenbachia) is one of the most common tropical plant variety that produces colourful foliage. Its other common name are "Dumb Canes" or "Mother-in-law's tongue". This refers to its poisonousness when being ingested; the symptoms include difficulty to breathe and speak.
This beginner plant has upright, bold foliage that adds softness and colours to any living space. It thrives in bright indirect light, moderate water.
The Tiki is a compact form of Dieffenbachia with beautiful ornate leaves up to 30cm long with creamy white speckles in a clustering habit. To keep a plant compact, it must be allowed to grow to a reasonable size and the central growth must be removed. This will force the plant to cluster with much smaller plantlets.
