Hoya 'Minibelle' Collection #68
Styled in Finch Pot
If you remember a vine creeping around your grandmother’s kitchen, chances are it was a Hoya plant. This tropical indoor plant — often called a “Wax plant” due to its thick waxy leaves — is a classic because it lives forever, grows to be enormous, and creates beautiful, porcelain-like fragrant flower clusters (it’s also often called “Porcelain flower”).
Hoya Minibelle is a cross between Hoya Shepherdii x Hoya Carnosa. It is a compact hoya with narrow and closely spaced foliage up to 8cm long on cascasding stems. During the warm months, it grows flower clusters amongst the leaves.
As a flowering house plant, Hoya Minibelle grows sweetly-fragrant, 1.5cm fragrant flowers in small clusters. Its fast growing nature makes it a perfect trailing plant for hanging baskets, ladder and bench top decorative piece.
Yes. Hoya’s are non toxic to humans or animals if ingested, so this is the perfect plant for pet owners!
