Hoya Jungle Green Collection #53
Styled in Winnie Planter
If you remember a vine creeping around your grandmother’s kitchen, chances are it was a Hoya plant. This tropical indoor plant — often called a “Wax plant” due to its thick waxy leaves — is a classic because it lives forever, grows to be enormous, and creates beautiful, porcelain-like fragrant flower clusters (it’s also often called “Porcelain flower”).
This is easily one of the most popular and highly sought after Hoyas. Jungle Green Hoya is a tough Hoya plant that is a cultivar of the commonly grown Hoya Pubicalyx. The Jungle Green Hoya has medium to large shiny green leaves with patches of white variegation that make the plant appear as though they have been splashed with liquid. It showcases a spectacular display of dark pink flowers in flowering season.
Yes. Although the Hoyas are non-toxic to cats or dogs, they can still make them sick. Large consumption of Hoya leaves can make cats or dogs vomit.
