If you remember a vine creeping around your grandmother’s kitchen, chances are it was a Hoya plant. This tropical indoor plant — often called a “Wax plant” due to its thick waxy leaves — is a classic because it lives forever, grows to be enormous, and creates beautiful, porcelain-like fragrant flower clusters (it’s also often called “Porcelain flower”).

Hoya bilobata is a delicately small and pretty variety of Hoya. This is a rarer variety, showcasing small olive green foliage, producing 1-2″ clusters of tiny brick red flowers with pink centres. Originally from the Philippines, this stunning specimen is a must have for any indoor plant collection

Pet Friendly

Although the Hoyas are non-toxic to cats or dogs, they can still make them sick. Large consumption of Hoya leaves can make cats or dogs vomit.
