Hoya 'Silver Pink' Collection #14
Hoya Silver Pink has elongated, dark green leaves with numerous white speckles. It produces long, running stems that are burgundy. The Silver Pink grows clusters of recurved 12mm fragrant, dark pink to burgundy flowers in large clusters in warmer months and then they fade to white. Its fast-growing and hardy nature makes it a perfect beginner plant, or a gifting idea.
As Hoya Silver Pink has a climbing habit, trim occasionally to control shape in growing seasons.
These tropical indoor plant — often called a “Wax plant” due to its thick waxy leaves — is a classic because it lives forever, grows to be enormous, and creates beautiful, porcelain-like fragrant flower clusters (it’s also often called “Porcelain flower”).
Although the Hoyas are non-toxic to cats or dogs, they can still make them sick. Large consumption of Hoya leaves can make cats or dogs vomit.
