Fiddle Leaf Fig (Ficus Lyrata)
Quite simply one of the best and most popular indoors plants around. The Fiddle Leaf Fig is a popular ornamental tree that is grown as a houseplant for its stunning leaves. The Fiddle Leaf Fig leaves are variable in shape, but often have a broad apex and narrow middle resembling a lyre or fiddle, hence the name.
These broad dark green leaves can grow up to 45cm long and 30cm wide. They are leathery in texture with prominent veins and a wavy margin. They are not as fussy as you may think. Given the right conditions, they will thrive and prefer to be left alone - not one to fuss over!
*Please note that due to the bulky and heaviness of Fiddle Leaf Fig, the 30cm&42cm can only be delivered within metro Melbourne or purchased in-store - no shipping.

Bright Light. Position your Fiddle Leaf Fig with lots of bright, indirect sunlight. Avoid afternoon direct sun - particular in winter. Ensure it is not near an air conditioning vent either. This will dry out the leaves very quickly.
Medium. Like many houseplants, your Fiddle Leaf Fig only needs watering when the top layer of soil is dry. The best way to test this is to stick your finger in the soil. Keep in mind depending on the season you may need re-position or adjust your watering.
