Curly Spider Plant (Chlorophytum comosum)
As one of the most common house plant, the spider plant is highly adaptable, easy to care for and propagate. Its compact, spider-like foliage is perfect as a hanging basket or a trailing plant off a bench space. It thrives in bright indirect light and can survive low-light conditions provided it has well-draining soil.
To propagate spider plants, all you have to do is submerge the small plant offset in either water or soil and wait until it has a strong enough root system. When that happens, you can cut the offset off the mother plant.
