Styled in Bianca Planter

Hoya 'Short Leaf' is a form of Lacunosa with shorter narrow leaves. This variety is a rarer specimen, often very hard to find and highly sought after. Flowers 3 to 4mm across appear through warmer season in clusters of 15 to 20 and have a perfume fragrance that can be smelt from a considerable distance.

If you remember a vine creeping around your grandmother’s kitchen, chances are it was a Hoya plant. This tropical indoor plant — often called a “Wax plant” due to its thick waxy leaves — is a classic because it lives forever, grows to be enormous, and creates beautiful, porcelain-like fragrant flower clusters (it’s also often called “Porcelain flower”).

Pet Friendly
Yes. Although the Hoyas are non-toxic to cats or dogs, they can still make them sick. Large consumption of Hoya leaves can make cats or dogs vomit.
